All Exams: General Intelligence & Reasoning — Statement & Conclusion (2026)

Statement & Conclusions — Analytical Strategy

Key Principle: A conclusion is valid only if it follows necessarily and directly from the statement(s). Do not add external knowledge.

Strong vs Weak Arguments: Strong arguments are directly relevant and significant. Weak ones are irrelevant or rely on assumptions.

Course of Action: Actions that follow logically from a problem. Must be practical and address the problem directly.

⚡ Tip: In "definitely follows" questions, the conclusion must hold in ALL cases implied by the statement. If even one exception exists, it "possibly follows" or "does not follow".

Common Traps

  • Reversing the implication (A→B does not mean B→A)
  • Assuming too much from 'some'
  • Confusing necessary and sufficient conditions
